The pier is a staple on the agenda of anyone visiting Ocean City. From the aroma of Thrasher's® French Fries to the sounds of joy coming from the Two Level Carousel, the pier is the place to be. Take a plunge on Slingshot or relax and enjoy the Ocean City skyline from the tallest Ferris Wheel in OC. The choice is yours and the pier has got it all. If fast and furious is what you want, then try out the Crazy Dance, the Looping Coaster and everyone's favorite, The Hurricane. If rides are not your thing the pier has plenty of Games, Food and Shops to pass your time with.

$33 for just three revolutions on the Ferris wheel at the inlet is outrageous.
Then, if you use a credit card, there’s an additional 3% surcharge, which gets taxed too. At that point, it feels less like covering processing costs and more like another way to inflate the final price. On top of that, you’re required to buy a rechargeable card before you can even ride.
People/businesses keep blaming “the economy” for rising prices, but there are still plenty of visitors on the boardwalk willing to spend money, it just has to feel reasonable and worth it. Most families would rather enjoy multiple attractions, food, and shops throughout the day than spend a huge amount on a single short ride.
Businesses seem to be focusing on maximizing profit from each customer instead of creating prices that encourage more people to participate. In the long run, that approach can backfire. When prices stop making sense, families eventually decide it’s just not worth it anymore.

Me and my family of 5 were here today.
We had a pretty good experience both on the games and rides. My kids had a lot of fun and we’re definitely coming back at least one more time before going home. I was impressed how kind were everybody I talked to and the girl who sold me the wristbands for my kids I don’t know how she was that calm to explain every tiny detail 50 times to understand it and still managed to joke with my kids. Sending my best regards to the girl with the tattoos on that ticket booth and all the management team. You guys won a loyal customer! Keep it up! And see you soon

Jolly Roger's is the home of the infamous sling shot and has great rides on the pier. We really enjoyed our time here. The wristbands are worth it. Especially if you plan on riding multiple rides or your favorite ride multiple times. They're $40 for the whole day. So, that's a really good price for the amount of rides.
